EDTA Cream: Used during the initial root canal shaping for file lubrication and chelation, and is commonly applied in the early to mid stages of filing.
EDTA Gel: Maintains lubrication and smear layer removal while adhering better to the canal walls, allowing it to remain in place more effectively.
MD Solution (EDTA Liquid): Due to its excellent flowability, it can reach micro areas of the root canal, including side canals and isthmuses.
Final irrigation with NaOCl is recommended.
EDTA and NaOCl should not be used simultaneously or mixed together.
